Two Holiday-themed markets in Culver City celebrated the joyous season this past weekend.

One of the most unique vendors at the Ivy Station Holiday Night Market, The Drunk Cactus Shop, came to Culver City from Orange County to show off its unique product on Friday, December 13. Trails at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook receive needed maintenance
An estimated 20 to 25 volunteers — consisting of both Parks Project members and outside volunteers — began work on the trails around 9 a.m. on Saturday and spent all morning on the job.

A candle light vigil was held on December 9 in front of Culver City's City Hall to pay tribute to Palestinian children that have died since the beginning of the most recent escalation of the Israel and Palestine-centered conflict in October 2023. The city council will vote on whether or not to add a Community Conversation on the conflict to EHRAC's work plan on January 13. || Photo by Christian May-Suzuki
A display with toys and clothes placed in City Hall's plaza on December 9 also included stories of children who have been killed as a result of Israel's violent retaliation to the October 2023 attacks.
